A combination of superb musicianship and accessible programming, with lots of lovely melodies, made this the sort of concert that you could take both your granny and your lute or recorder teacher to, and they would both enjoy themselves – the ’philosopher’s stone’ of early music performance, surely. A delight!

It was a delight to experience the musical vitality displayed by Duo al Dente. With a sure hand and a pleasure in her playing which was both evident and infectious, Kirsten Lund Jensen infused the programme with just that charm which makes a performance convincing and compelling. All the while calmly and authoritatively accompanied by Per Weile Bak.
